If you came here alone or with just one companion, you should just order the personal portion (one plate including rice, meat/fish and vegetables). But if you came here with more than 3 people and you all wanting the same menu, please order the family portion (just like mine). The family portion is for 3-4 people. Tips: their dabu-dabu spice is an absolute spicy! But delicious!"

Apr 05, 2026"A Manadonese restaurant in an old home in Gondangdia. Before the pandemic this place was bustling with customers for after-church family lunch. Came here on a Sunday after more than a year of missing this place. The pork tinoransak was still the best. Complex, intense, with full-blown heat associated with Manadonese cuisine. Choice of dishes were not as extensive as before the pandemic, but you could still have pork satay, babi kecap, grilled mackerel, and of course papaya florets as the mainstay veggie."

Mar 30, 2026"This restaurant is a real gem. A small family restaurant in an old home in Gondangdia that the passage of time has forgotten. Limited menu of just the most authentic, delicious Manadonese food. Not halal, but there are many non-pork dishes too. The fish was especially delicious. (Note that the bruinebonensoep, the unctuous savory red kidney bean soup of Dutch origin savored across Eastern Indonesia is made with pork here). It's quite expensive by Jakarta standards (expect to pay 300k+ per person), and is cash only. But totally worth every Rupiah!"

Mar 14, 2026"Good selection of Minahasan food, friendly owners who hailed from Tomohon, North Sulawesi, so they know what they’re cooking! The selections are not too spicy — they’re just right! Highly recommend the tinorangsak and nasi jaha (if available!) They also have one of the best panada around, even better than the one in Tomohon (surprisingly!)"

Mar 05, 2026"For manadonese food mania, this place is worthed to be visited. The "nasi campur" cost only Rp. 37.500. You get, rice 1 portion, 2 meals and 1 vegetable (and you can also ask the server to pour a bit of bruinebonensoep). And you can add the pork satay only 10k. Delicious!"
